Toad in our yard.

So, we had a toad in our yard for a while. Maesyn loved him (or her) and gave it a tour of our house and held it and loved it. Jake said he would hold it "next time". It peed on Maes a few times.

In contrast. I had a small wart on my foot. I did not want to do anything about it, it might hurt and then effect my running addiction..So I let it go. Sometimes they just go away on their own. Bu then another one sprouted. No big deal. Then one night I saw about 20 small dots on my feet. A "colony" as Nate described it.
So off to the dermatologist and then back with some compound w and instructions. The bottom of my feet are pretty eaten up from the acid.
One night when saying prayers my feet were near Maes.
"Ew, disgusting, get your yucky toad feet away from me!"

Wild Life World Zoo

At the beginning of May we went to the Wildlife World Zoo with Tara and Mandi and Tara's room made Sharon and Cousin boy Reagan. This is a new zoo and it was not crowed ed and not really manned with lots of employees. Thus we reached into cages and pet animals that would not eat us.. and Reagan shared his sippie with a Lama.
It was an amazing zoo, but they do not allow outside food. We picnicked in the hot parking lot, but then I took some snacks in for my pregnant self to much on.
All in all we had a great day. How often do you get to feed a Giraffe?

Feeding the birds some apples. They would land right on you to eat! Maesyn was very brave to feed the birds.
Aunt Tara and Nate and Jake and Maes. Jake was content to just watch!
Lamas.
Feeding the Giraffes. You just drop the food on their tongues.

They have really long tongues.
It is kinda yucky!

Oh and they did have a fun petting zoo, no pictures because two goats started to eat my skirt and I had to leave.
And they had some prairie dogs that were nursing like 500 babies while standing on all fours. I felt a special closeness to them.

Family Petting Zoo

My mom's side of the family had a wonderful idea to have a petting zoo and pony rides at their anual "Thanksmas" patrty. Of course the kids LOVED it.

If you can ever get a picture of your child and a llama, just do it!

Jake thinking about holding a chicken.

My bum covered by the diaper bag and the kids looking at the bunny.
Maes holding a baby chicken... also called a chick...
Now, although this was loads of fun i'd also like to remember that a goat tried to eat my sweater several times and a goose "vomited" near me and then flung his/her head about and flicked goose vomit on my jeans.
