The Rules
1. Be one of the first Three (3) bloggers to leave a comment on this post, which then entitles you to a handmade item from me.
2. Winners, you must post this challenge on your blog, meaning that you will Pay It Forward, creating a handmade gift for the first 3 bloggers who leave a comment on YOUR post about this giveaway!
3. The gift that you send to your three Friends can be from any price range and you have 365 days to make/ship your item. This means you should be willing to maintain your blog at least until you receive your gift and have shipped your gifts. And, remember: It’s the Spirit and the Thought That Count!
4. When you receive your gift, please feel free to blog about it, sharing appropriate Linky Love! If you are not one of the 1st Three Commenters on this post, you can still play along. Post it on your blog; start your own Pay It Forward chain, and encourage your blogging friends to do the same! I will leave a list of names who were the first 3 on my blog as soon as I receive them! I have no clue what it is I will make you, lets see who the winners are first.

Call to all Artists and Crafters
I just e-mailed a letter to some of my friends requesting art. However, I realized that I don't have the e-mail addresses of all of my artsy fartsy friends and some of you might have some hidden talent that I do not know about. So I am extending this request to all of my friends and strangers out there in the blogospher that might look upon this post. Here it is:
I have a request. I am a little stumped with bathroom decor beyond mirrors, shelves with bottles of pretty soaps and baskets. The one thing that I really like are toilet pictures, drawings and paintings. I have been doing toilet drawings and paintings for years and have given them as gifts on occasion. I'd like to have more than just my own art in my bathrooms now. Currently I have some watercolors of toilets in one bathroom and the other has a picture of me nude at the toilet (don't get excited ya'll...i was 18 months old) with toilet paper everywhere because I was toilet training. The picture is from 1980- so it is square cut with round edges. At any rate.. I would love to acquire some more toilet art... so I'd love to commission all of you- if you have time- to make me some toilet art. PLEASE. I will pay you back with my own prints that are in my Etsy shop- just tell me what you want. You can decide on what your work is worth and tell me the appropriate trade. Let me know if you have any interest. all types of 2d art will be greatly loved.
Oh, and the first one to post a comment saying that they are in gets to pick an additional card from my shop!!!

The winners/cheaters are.....
Sara- Cut your Hair -Pavement.
Kelly - Gigantic- The Pixies.
Please send me your mailing address and I'll get your cards in the mail when ever I decide to drive by the post office and pull in and buy a stamp and send the card to you.
Why are these songs significant to this event???
Cut your Hair. Possibly one of the only songs I know by Pavement. This takes me back to 1994 and listening to Live 105.3 FM in the San Francisco Bay Area. Summer after sophomore year, Mountain View High School, Mountain View, California. Right before we moved to Germany.
When ever I get my hair cut I think of this song.
Gigantic- the Pixies are one of my all time favorite bands. I had no real reason why I picked this song- I just wanted a Pixies song as my new hair style is called "the pixie cut".
The song goes on to say "hey paul, hey paul, hey paul let's have a ball"
Now for your viewing pleasure... Nate getting hair from various parts of his head cut on a few different occasions several years ago: Enjoy.
